This is just an example of how to find the right computer for you. The criteria I used is found on my last post. I just used the four basic computer components to find the right computer I need. (CPU-Computer Processing unit, RAM-Random Access Memory, GPU-Video card processing, and Storage) I just searched through a list of computers on amazon and searched on Google. After looking through all the computers I picked out three for specific purposes. This is what I came up with:
For CPU
I would like a 64-bit because I love to play games, look at and edit photos,
watch movies, and listen to music. The 64-bit would also make my computer
faster which would be a very nice convenience.
For the
RAM I would like a computer with 6GB of space because I like to store a lot of
RAW photos on my computer which tends to take up a lot of space and also makes
the computer run slower. I could probably work with a 4GB, but it would be
better if I had more than less.
For GPU
I would like to have 256Mb because editing photos and playing video games
require a lot of quality in the picture. This feature is not super pricy for
the most serious computer buyers, and the new video cards can support
resolutions in excess of 2400 x 1400+ pixels at refresh rates up to 240 MHz for
3D gaming systems with steroscopic 3D glasses.
Lastly
for storage I would like 600+GB because it helps a lot to store video, audio,
graphics, and other storage consuming files. The spin rate also improves the
performance of the hard drive. This would help make the computer run faster.

The computer that would match my needs would have to be the Toshiba Satellite S875-S7376 17.3-Inch Laptop (Ice Blue Brushed Aluminum). This laptop would be perfect for my moving around a lot as well as match the closest to my CPU, RAM, Video Processor (or GPU) and Storage needs the best. I would like to have the Windows® 7 Professional (32-Bit OS), but it a laptop would suit my needs much better than a desk computer. I think that although the Toshiba Satellite S875-S7376 17.3-Inch Laptop (Ice Blue Brushed Aluminum) is more expensive than most laptops, it is exactly what I need.
